I am an undergraduate at the University of Washington. I am interested in how changes to the circadian rhythm impact various behavioral phenotypes. Currently, I am wrapping up a project that studies the impact of circadian disruption on behavioral manifestations of depression. I am also studying a model of Dravet syndrome, which is caused by a global loss of function mutation in the Nav1.1 sodium channel. By localizing the mutation to the SCN, I hope to better understand the SCN's role in circadian behavioral deficits correlated with the disease.

I am majoring in neurobiology, and will graduate in Spring 2018. I intend to continue in research after graduation.
